A Snapshot document is intended to make public the direction and thinking about the path we are taking in the development of the OSDU Data Platform Standard, Version 1.0. We invite your feedback and guidance.

APPROACHING MILESTONE
Once the OSDU Data Platform Standard is finalized, it will form the basis for the OSDU Data Platform certification program. Given that the OSDU Data Platform is a rapidly evolving set of emerging capabilities within the OSDU community, an OSDU Platform Maturity Model is also introduced in the Snapshot document to objectively derive the mandatory minimum certification scope from this set of ever-changing emerging capabilities.
The objective of this standard is to create an agnostic data platform reference architecture with application standards so that all applications can run on any platform instance, and to leverage industry data standards for frictionless integration and data access.
