The OSDU Forum will enable new business and operational opportunities for Upstream Production Services
Provisioning of operational Upstream Production services offered in two MVP steps. It is based on contributions from both Schlumberger and Halliburton including a very rich data model. Applications are outside the scope of the OSDU Forum project.
(November 2021) Status
Service development is well underway: MVP1 is ready for the detailed development steps. In the case of MVP2 data model design, etc. is under way. Be aware that we as well use OPC-UA for the connectivity between the field and the OSDU DO; DeltaLake as the store for all time series and other and KAFKA in case we need to support very high speed streaming data.
Operational
MVP1 to go live in 1H2022.
MVP2: Aimed for 2H2022.
The OSDU Forum has seen remarkable growth over the past two years since we officially debuted in September 2018. This growth tells us that the industry is hungry for digital and we are happy to be building a foundation for transformation!
